Flexible Maintenance Notification Timing – Let Us Choose When to Go Live!
Dominik H.
Hi StatusPal Team,
At the moment, maintenances are automatically published exactly seven days before they start. While this might work in some scenarios, we find this fixed timeframe a bit limiting. Depending on the context, we sometimes want to inform users earlier (e.g., 14 days in advance), and other times, only a short notice (e.g., 24 hours or even 1 hour ahead) is more appropriate.
It would be extremely helpful if the lead time before a maintenance is published could be made configurable—either globally or per maintenance event. This added flexibility would significantly improve the user experience and allow us to better align communication with the nature of each maintenance window.
Thanks in advance for considering this improvement, and thanks for all the great work you’re doing with StatusPal!
Best regards,

Hey, both features are already there. You can configure it directly in a single maintenance and globally for all maintenance.
Just click the Configure -> in the Single maintenance after the text: Subscribers will be notified immediately, on start and on end of maintenance.

Philipp Stranghöner but doesn't that only affect the notifications? Just to be clear, I wanted to influence when the Maintanence is appearing on the status page.

Dominik H. I am just a customer as you are, but i thought that it is the same time when the maintanence is published on the status page.
